I have experience teaching a range of courses, particularly in applied ethics. I regularly teach lower-level courses like persons and problems and health care ethics, but I also have experience teaching upper level courses in ancient philosophy and feminist philosophy. For a full list of courses I have taught, see my curriculum vitae. Below you will find a summary of my teaching evaluations since I have been at St. John’s. You can compare my numbers to the average rating for professors both college- and university-wide. I also included the observation reports I have received and a link to my ratemyprofessor.com page for St. John’s University.

Students have also rated me on ratemyprofessor.com. See my ratings and reviews from students at St. John’s University. Here’s my favorite comment: “he tells jokes that aren’t funny but the way he laughs at them is.” http://www.ratemyprofessors.com/ShowRatings.jsp?tid=1779852
